Website Traffic Statistics and Search Engine Performance

We use the Google Site Kit plugin on your website to track your website traffic statistics (Google Analytics) and search engine performance (Google Search Console).

• Track your website traffic: See how many visitors your site gets and where they come from.
  

• Understand visitor behavior: Learn what pages they visit and how they interact with your site.
  

• Monitor search performance: Find out how your site is performing on Google Search and which keywords bring people to your site.
  

The data is shown right inside your WordPress dashboard when you are logged in to your website.

To set this up, all you need is a Google Analytics account. If you don’t already have one, you can create it here: https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/.

Once your account is ready:

• Log in to your Google Analytics account.
  

• Go to Admin > Account Settings > Account Access Management.
  

• Click + Add Users and enter admin@gs-websites.ca.
  

• Assign us the Administrator role so we can configure everything for you.
  

That’s it! Once we’re added, we’ll take care of connecting Google Analytics to your website and setting up Site Kit.
